On March 18, 2025, the Sichuan Energy Internet Research Institute, Tsinghua University ("S-EIRI") celebrated its ninth anniversary with an event held by Xinglong Lake. The S-EIRI's leadership, along with staff representatives from various departments, research centers, and laboratories, convened to commemorate nine years of dedicated progress and envision the blueprint for future development.

The event commenced with attendees watching the S-EIRI's ninth-anniversary promotional video, themed "Passion Endures Through Nine Years." Focusing on the work of four research teams, the video showcased the enduring passion and driving motivation behind the S-EIRI's front-line researchers.

In his address, Lu Zongxiang, utive Vice Dean of the S-EIRI, remarked that every milestone and achievement over the past nine years is the result of the collective wisdom and hard work of all S-EIRI staff. He encouraged everyone to continue harnessing their national dedication and pragmatic spirit to propel the S-EIRI towards an even more ambitious and soaring future, invoking the spirit of the ancient proverb "The roc rises on the wind for ninety thousand li."

Recognizing the dedicated staff who have grown alongside the S-EIRI, Vice Dean Liu Wanhua, Vice Dean Liu Yi, and Assistant Dean Lv Lanchun presented "Loyalty and Dedication Award" trophies and flowers to colleagues marking five years of service. Zhou Te, Head of the Smart City Energy Systems Laboratory, spoke on behalf of the recipients, sharing his experiences and reflections from his time at the S-EIRI.
