New power system

New power system takes new energy as the main supplying source and enjoys basic features of green & low-carbon, safe & controllable, smart & flexible, open & interactive, digitally empowered and economical & efficient. It mainly includes researches towards orientations such as high-proportion new energy grid-connection, new energy storage, key equipment of new electric power system, electric-carbon complex and electric power market.

Green and low-carbon energy

Clean low-carbon is one of the core goals of building a modern energy system. It mainly includes researches towards orientations such as smart hydropower & watershed security, green hydrogen technology and new technology of oil gas.

Energy cross-integration

Energy cross-integration is the deep integration of technologies in energy field, information field and transportation field, especially the application of cross-integration technologies in applying scenarios such as information infrastructure and transportation infrastructure. It mainly includes researches towards orientations such as energy big data digitalization & intelligentization technology, energy system digital twinning, transportation energy interconnection, and electrified transportation.

Energy carbon neutrality

Facing energy development challenges such as climate change, environmental pollution and resource shortage and industrial cross-border integration trends, conduct researches towards orientations such as energy strategy & policy, coordination of pollution decreasing & carbon reducing, intelligent networked new energy vehicles, industrial energy saving & carbon reducing and smart low-carbon city.
