Facing nationally major strategic needs upon oil gas energy, the Center utilizes modern high-tech technologies such as the Internet of Things, sensors, cloud computing and robots, combines intelligent monitoring and analysis methods, conducts the application research and industrialization of cutting-edge theories and technologies such as production increasing theory and technology of oil gas by discharging shock wave, distributed optical fiber monitoring & interpretation system and intelligent control technology of oil gas wells, intelligent oil field development technology, and oil gas new energy technology. The Center is committed to building an interdisciplinary platform integrating theoretical innovation, technology development, product development and technology promotion in the field of oil gas, in order to achieve the highly efficient, economical and green development of oil gas, and serve the improvement of national energy strategic security and energy production safety.

Closely focusing on national major strategic needs of digitalization and intelligentization transformation, Oil Gas Digitalization & intelligentization Engineering and Technology Institute is committed to creating an integrated industrial software for exploration & development of domestic oil gas industry based on artificial intelligence and digital twinning technology, actively opening up various links of development and production, achieving integrated control of production process, building a new engine for energy digitalization & intelligentization, and contributing to costs reducing and efficiency increasing in energy industry. The R&D core team members all have experiences of studying and working in well-known universities and research institutions at home and abroad, and have occupied key technical and management positions in top companies of the industry.

Oil Gas Production Increasing New Technology Institute

The Institute gathers various kinds of high-level talents, takes pulse power technology as the core, regards the production increasing technology of discharging shock wave in water as the main research field, actively explores the new application of pulse power technology in oil gas production, and is committed to building a domestically top R&D team upon oil gas production increasing new technology. It plans to take oil gas production increasing by discharging shock wave as the core business, and expand to diversified businesses in oil gas production field.

The Institute integrates the technologies and resources of the new energy industry and the oil gas industry, conducts new energy sci-tech innovation and achievements transformation towards oil gas industry, and is committed to researches in aspects such as photovoltaic, wind power, energy storage, optothermal, microgrid, and fields such as control scenarios and control strategies based on oil gas scenarios, intelligent operation management platform based on big data and edge computing, and system framework of microgrid interconnection based on cloud computing. Under the precondition of ensuring national energy security and green low-carbon development, the Institute provides integrated solutions and engineering services of "source, grid, load, storage, hydrogen and carbon" multi-energy complementation, promotes the development of green transformation in oil gas industry, and realizes the vision of bringing the energy industry into the era of green intelligence.

Mainly used for commissioning & overhauling operations under pressure as the emergency backup power source; The standby power is started seamlessly within 10ms, and the charging & discharging are automatically adjusted to improve the fuel efficiency of the diesel generator.

Will be mainly used for standardized & modular design in routine commissioning & overhauling operations, can be on multiple machines in parallel; Adopts perfluorohexanone full-submerged mode, with high safety and intelligent air conditioning temperature control; Equipped with energy intelligent cloud EMS, real-time remote monitoring, three-level protection & control, and safe & reliable system operation

Discharging Plasma Shock Wave Technology (DPS)


  • Use devices to discharge plasma and strong shock wave in the well

  • Remove dirt clogs from reservoirs and boreholes and new cracks by fractured rocks

Application Cases

  • Communication base station energy storage solution

    The system adopts the modular design idea to improve system reliability, simplify operation & maintenance, and reduce maintenance costs. The system topology structure adopts online seamless-started backup power to achieve free electricity and seamless switching; The battery module adopts a single box of 4.8kwh, which can realize the parallel output of over 32 machines, and realize the free machines' combining and paralleling to increase system battery capacity; Adopts lithium iron phosphate, with 3000 cycles, over 10 years of calendar life, and high safety & long life.

  • Energy storage application of Changqing underground drilling left grid power

    During drilling operations, the applied capacity of grid power is 2500 ~ 4000kVA, and the voltage deviation is ±10%, which usually cannot meet the quantity requirements of power-driven fracturing and quality requirements of electric energy. Therefore, it's necessary to re-wire, resulting in an increase in electricity cost. Through the access of energy storage, the energy time shifting and power adjusting functions of energy storage and the left grid power in drilling operations are used to drive about 3 sets of power-driven fracturing machines to carry out oil gas fracturing operations, which can reduce the cost of transmission line construction and provide the power-driven proportion of fracturing operations.

  • Solar power and diesel power storage system of camping house

    Make full use of the idle space of camping house to provide green power for daily life When the green power is sufficient, photovoltaic power will provide electricity for daily life, and the remaining power is for energy storage charging, so as to realize the full utilization of photovoltaic power and green power. When the load power consumption is higher than photovoltaic power generation, the energy storage will discharge, so as to realize the joint power supply of photovoltaic power and energy storage for the load consumption, and effectively reduce the starting time of diesel generator. When the photovoltaic power generation is insufficient and the energy storage is low, the side diesel generator will be automatically started as a backup power source to provide power for daily life and charge for energy storage. It's mainly equipped in pilot exploitation sites in areas such as Su-li-ge and Xin Jiang.

  • Diesel power storage microgrid system of CNPC Chuanqing Drilling Engineering Co. Ltd.

    Connect the MW-level energy storage system with diesel generator power supply system, control the charging & discharging time and the charging & discharging power of energy storage, then influence the output power of the diesel generator, make its operation within optimal efficiency range, so as to achieve the purposes of saving fuel, reducing carbon and improving electric energy quality. The core of this application are the coordinated control algorithm between diesel generator and energy storage, and the system integration & safety assurance system R&D combined with the drilling platform. The project has been completed by the end of December 2023, and the comprehensive fuel saving rate has reached 10% after practical verification.

  • Application of the technology of increasing injection and reducing pressure by electric pulse compound acidizing

    In 2022, the technology of increasing injection and reducing pressure by electric pulse compound acidizing was applied in the production of 2 water injection wells in Changqing Oilfield, and has achieved expected effect. The average daily injection of the two wells has been increased by 16.5m3 and the average water injection pressure has been decreased by 3.6MPa.
