Recently, under the guidance of Chengdu Investment Promotion Bureau and Chengdu Commerce Bureau, a promotion activity of international hydrogen energy enterprises cooperation was organized and held by SC-EIRI jointly with institutions such as JETRO Chengdu Representative Office, the Consulate General of the United Kingdom in Chongqing and the Consulate General of Canada in Chongqing. More than 50 enterprises from countries such as the United Kingdom, Japan and Canada had an in-depth understanding of the practical achievements of Sichuan Province in clean energy and other fields, through enterprise visits, technical exchanges and other forms.
In the sci-tech achievements exhibition hall of SC-EIRI, visiting enterprises from various countries had an in-depth understanding of the innovative achievements of SC-EIRI in the fields such as energy Internet key equipment, smart energy system, information energization and energy carbon neutrality, and had discussions focusing on the management mechanism and service model of S-EIRI in aspects such as sci-tech innovation and industrial ecology. On October 23, visiting enterprises from various countries also participated in the "Sichuan Tianfu New Area Investment Promotion Conference at International Horticultural Exhibition 2024 Chengdu - 2024 Renewable Energy Power Technology Innovation and Industrial Development Conference & Global Wind, Solar, Green Hydrogen Industry Chain Innovation Summit" co-organized by SC-EIRI, and jointly discussed the broad prospects of hydrogen energy in renewable energy and relevant application fields.
During the visit, visiting enterprises from various countries learned about the strategic planning and construction concepts of Chengdu, especially Tianfu New Area in Chengdu Planning Exhibition Hall and Tianfu New Area Planning Exhibition Hall, and learned about the layout of hydrogen energy industry and the hydrogen energy development plan of key enterprises in Sichuan Province and Chengdu City in SFTM and the Western Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park.
The successful holding of the promotion activity has effectively enhanced the exchanges between SC-EIRI and excellent foreign enterprises in the field of hydrogen energy, and laid a solid foundation for next cooperation. Meanwhile, the activity has enhanced the confidence of foreign enterprises and investment institutions to invest and develop in Chengdu, and injected new impetus for Chengdu City, especially Tianfu New Area, to expand opening up and attract foreign investment.
